IMC European Awards announce Call for Entries
4 May 2012 -Brussels, 4th May 2012: The EACA and the Integrated Marketing Communications Council of Europe have announced the call for entries for the 2012 IMC European Awards for Integrated Marketing Communications.
The IMC European Awards are open to national award winners in the 9 member countries which are Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
New for 2012 will be the category "Best Integrated Marketing Campaign from a non-European country" which will be awarded to the campaign that uses at least three different types of media/disciplines (game, direct marketing, sampling, e-mail marketing, word-of-mouth, street performance, event, skill promotion, mass-media) to most effectively market a product, service or company. The emphasis will be placed on the media choice and the integration of all media channels as well as the creative look and feel of a campaign coming from a non-European agency. Furthermore, the categories "Direct 1:1 Communication" and "Digital Communication" have been merged.
The Awards are managed by the EACA, with the assistance of the Integrated Marketing Communications Council of Europe and with the support of WARC and Adforum. The call for entries for the IMC European Awards 2012 runs from 4th May to 16th July 2012. Finalists will be announced in September on the dedicated IMCC website www.imcceurope.com/
Entries will be judged online by a panel of around 60 senior industry European representatives. Judging will take place from 27th July to 3rd September 2012.
