The European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) is a Brussels-based organisation whose mission is to represent full-service advertising and media agencies and agency associations in Europe.

EACA aims to promote honest, effective advertising, high professional standards, and awareness of the contribution of advertising in a free market economy and to encourage close co-operation between agencies, advertisers and media in European advertising bodies.

Europeans competed for the 2010 Capital of Culture, Istanbul

Winner and first runner up are from Turkey
Second runner up from Hungary...

For the final evaluation of Call4Istanbul – European Interactive Advertising Competition the international jury gathered up in Istanbul. They made their evaluation with the following criterias :
a) interactive campaign strategy
b) execution of the creative ideas
c) creative media suggestions

Winners were announced in a special gala on a splendid ceremony on the Bosphorus
Winner Olca Mutlu (IGOA), Onur Erdem (IGOA), Bengisu Gencay (IGOA), Pınar Yıldırım (IGOA).
First runner-up  Başak Yenier (Rabarba), Ali Musa Paça (Rabarba).
Second runner-up Gergely Kereszturi (AEGIS Media Services), Gergely Nyikos (İnfinite Ammo).

Winner is awarded with 16.500 Euros in cash and free tickets to a mega pop concert in Istanbul.

The Foundation of Advertising, Turkey organized the competition in co-operation with Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency and the Turkish Association of Advertising Agencies; with the kind support of EACA, IAB Europe and IAB Turkey. Main sponsor is TTNET, and Finansbank is the financial services sponsor, while Turkish Airlines is transport sponsor and Hotel Armada acts as accomodation sponsor.
