European awards to be announced at ISP Christmas Lunch
14 November 2007 -The annual Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP) Christmas lunch is to be given an international flavour this year with a ceremony to announce the UK winners of the IMC European Awards.
Nine UK campaigns have been nominated by judges in the European-wide awards competition, which are run by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) to recognise achievement across member countries.
Ceremonies are being held in each country by each of the national trade associations that belong to the EACA, with the ISP using its annual Christmas lunch as the opportunity to present trophies to the UK winners.
The event is being held at the Langham hotel in Portland Place, London, on Friday December 7.
The awards will be presented by guest speaker, the BBC’s Nicholas Owen, one of television's most experienced news presenters and journalists. A biography and picture are attached.
The UK nominees are Attention, Billington Cartmell, Blue-Chip Marketing (Manchester), Elvis, Event Marketing Solutions, Exposure, Publicis Dialog, SMP and Space. They all qualified for entry in the European-wide competition after their promotional campaigns won Gold at the ISP Awards 2007 in May.
They are among 37 agencies from 10 European countries nominated for the IMC European Awards. For information on the awards, go to www.imceuropeanawards.com.
