EU Country Profiles
These profiles, compiled by nVision, are intended to offer a “snapshot” view of European markets in terms of their economic scale and consumer priorities. They provide a starting point for companies wanting to sell in these countries, by offering comparisons between each country and the average condition of the fifteen pre-enlargement Member States. Country specific data is in blue while the equivalent figure for the EU-15* is in black. Data gaps show where data is unavailable.
* On 1 May 2004, the EU went from a Union of 15 countries, to a Union of 25. These 15 countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom.
